Welcome to Show and Tell Friday!

I've been in Hawaii for the past week and got home in the wee hours this morning (Wednesday).  We were supposed to get home last night but our flight was delayed.  I usually do my Show and Tell posts on Wednesday evenings so it can go up at 6pm Pacific Time on Thursday evening.  Since I've had very little sleep (I went to sleep sometime after 3am) and had to work today I don't have the energy to go through my photos to share with you. I had planned on sharing the inside of my boyfriend's townhouse with you but instead I'll share those next week and just share the outside of it with you now. I'm so tired I can hardly even think well enough to type this right now!   The photo above is his townhouse and...

...these are photos I took looking down each end of his street. It's a beautiful place!  A tropical paradise!

I'll share the inside photos with you next week!  I'm off to bed now!

Welcome to Show and Tell Friday!  I'm in Hawaii (the Big Island) again so I only have vacation photos to share this week!  I arrived around 10:00 am Hawaiin time on Tuesday morning so I've only been here two days so far.  I wish you could feel the warm tropical breezes! They are wonderful!

We went to the pool the first day and the beach yesterday! 

Allens's daughter and 4 year old grandson are here also and it was nice to finally meet them after hearing so much about them!  They've already been here a week so they leave tonight and Allen and I leave next Tuesday.

I bought this big hat last summer and I wanted to bring it but it's so huge that I couldn't pack it. I had to carry it on the plane which was such a pain but I'm happy I did because it really keeps the sun off my face!  I always buy hats and then never wear them so I'm glad I'm finally using this!

One of my favorite Hawaiian drinks...a Lava Flow! This was taken poolside at Allen's townhouse my first day here. The pool area is right by the ocean...it's so beautiful here!

We're off to the pool now...see you here next week...

Birdcages - Show and Tell Friday

Welcome to Show and Tell Friday!

I don't have anything new to share this week so I compiled a bunch of old photos of some of my collection of birdcages!  I no longer have any birds but I do love bird cages!  People comment when they come here about all the bird cages with no birds...sometimes I feel like a crazy old woman.  They also comment about all the old mirrors in my home. I like my collections...what can I say?

I know most of you will understand!

I move them around and even take them outside sometimes!

I decorate with birdcages and I like it!

Next week I will be back in Hawaii!  I can't believe I'm going back again...I'm so excited!  I was there in March and I feel so fortunate that I get to go again! Thank you Allen...you spoil me!
